About Our Clinic
Our Caring Mission
Women & Children's Health Care Clinic of Acadiana is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of women, infants, and children in the Acadiana community. Our clinic provides a welcoming environment where families can access nutrition education, health resources, and support through the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.
We believe that healthy families start with access to the right resources and information. Our team works with eligible women, infants, and children to provide nutrition support, breastfeeding education, healthy eating guidance, and connections to important community resources.
Located in Lafayette, Louisiana, we are proud to serve families throughout the Acadiana area. Whether you are applying for WIC, completing a certification appointment, learning more about healthy nutrition, or looking for breastfeeding support, our goal is to make the process as helpful and comfortable as possible.

Meet Our Team
Elvina- Director
As Director, Elvina provides leadership and oversight for Women & Children’s Health Care Clinic of Acadiana. She is committed to maintaining a welcoming, supportive, and family-centered environment where participants can access WIC services, nutrition education, and valuable resources. Elvina works closely with the clinic team to ensure families receive respectful, compassionate, and quality service.
Kenneth- Assistant Director / Certified Public Authority (CPA)
Kenneth supports the leadership, administration, and daily operations of Women & Children’s Health Care Clinic of Acadiana. As Assistant Director and Certified Public Authority, he works with staff to help ensure WIC services are delivered efficiently and participants receive a positive experience. He is committed to strengthening clinic operations while supporting the needs of the families and communities WCHCCA serves.
Lauren- Certified Public Authority (CPA) / Licensed Practical Nurse
Lauren brings together her experience as a Certified Public Authority and Licensed Practical Nurse to provide knowledgeable and compassionate support to WIC participants. She assists families throughout the certification process, helps address participant needs, and provides guidance within her professional role. Lauren is dedicated to making each family’s experience comfortable, respectful, and supportive.
Dr. Randall Wright- MD Medical Director / Physician
Dr. Randall Wright provides medical leadership and professional guidance to Women & Children’s Health Care Clinic of Acadiana. As the clinic’s physician, he works alongside the WCHCCA team to support its commitment to the health and well-being of women, infants, and children throughout the Acadiana community.
Dr. Wright brings a compassionate, family-centered approach to his role and supports the clinic’s efforts to connect families with nutrition education, health information, and important community resources. His medical expertise strengthens WCHCCA’s mission of helping families establish healthy foundations for today and for the future.
Jamie- Clerk / Certified Public Authority (CPA)
Jamie helps provide a welcoming and organized experience for families receiving services at WCHCCA. As a Clerk and Certified Public Authority, she assists participants with appointments, certification-related services, participant information, and other WIC needs. Her friendly and helpful approach helps families feel comfortable and supported throughout their experience with the clinic.
Marlayna- Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist / Breastfeeding Coordinator
Marlayna provides families with practical, personalized nutrition education and guidance. She supports women and parents in understanding healthy food choices, prenatal and postpartum nutrition, infant and child nutrition, and positive eating habits. As Breastfeeding Coordinator, she also helps connect mothers with breastfeeding education, encouragement, and resources to support their individual breastfeeding goals.
Dr. Jackson- EdD, RD, LDN Registered Dietitian / Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist
Dr. Jackson brings advanced education and professional expertise in nutrition and dietetics to the WCHCCA team. She provides evidence-based nutrition education and guidance to support healthy pregnancies, infant and child development, and positive eating habits. Her experience helps families better understand their nutritional needs and make informed choices that support long-term health and wellness.
